Taylor Swift hands $55 million worth of bonuses to Eras Tour crew

As the "Love Story" singer wraps up the U.S. segment of her Eras Tour, she's demonstrating her gratitude by generously rewarding the truck drivers who played a pivotal role in ensuring the tour's monumental success.

TMZ has reported that Swift has bestowed $100,000 bonus checks upon each of the production truck drivers who tirelessly transported her elaborate stage equipment across the nation since the tour's kickoff in March. These six-figure bonuses were presented to the truckers on Saturday, July 29, just ahead of Swift's Eras Tour performance at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

With approximately 50 truck drivers involved in Swift's Eras Tour (though earlier estimates by the New York Post suggested a figure closer to 90 trucks utilized), it is estimated that Swift's goodwill expenditure on bonus checks reached a remarkable $5 million.

The gesture of appreciation isn't exclusive to truck drivers alone. According to insider reports shared with TMZ, other essential team members contributing to the tour's triumph, such as lighting and sound directors, backup dancers, musicians, and catering staff, are also being rewarded with "very generous" bonus checks that reflect the tour's resounding success.

Following her Santa Clara show, Swift took to social media to commemorate the concert and reflect on the final U.S. tour dates through a collection of photos.

While the U.S. chapter of the tour draws to a close, Swift won't be resting for long. She's gearing up for an international leg that kicks off in late August, beginning with a two-night engagement in Mexico City. This international stretch of the Eras Tour will encompass destinations spanning South America, Asia, Australia, Europe, the U.K., and beyond.

As Taylor Swift continues to shine on the global stage, her gesture of appreciation to her dedicated team members underscores her commitment to acknowledging their invaluable contributions to her tour's triumphant journey.
