Artists come together for "A Tribute to The Judds"

The star-studded lineup includes luminaries such as Dolly Parton, Jelly Roll, Reba McEntire, Lainey Wilson, Carly Pearce, Megan Moroney, Blake Shelton, Trisha Yearwood, Ashley McBryde, Gabby Barrett, and LeAnn Rimes.

A grand tribute is in the making for the esteemed Country Music Hall of Fame duo, The Judds (Wynonna and Naomi Judd), as over two dozen artists gather to honor their legacy on the forthcoming album "A Tribute to The Judds." This project is set to release on October 27 under BMG.

Wynonna Judd, one half of The Judds, expressed her excitement, stating, "To have all of these artists, most of which are my friends, come together and lend their voices and artistry to reimagine these songs, is so special... These songs are so timeless, and I am so excited for them to live on for generations to come."

The public will get a sneak peek of this heartfelt project on August 18 with the release of a selected song from the album.

The album features captivating collaborations, including Shelton and Stefani's rendition of "Love Is Alive," Yearwood joining Wynonna for "Cry Myself to Sleep," Parton teaming up with Wilson for "Mama He's Crazy," and more.

Almost all of the 14 tracks on the album were produced by Brent Maher, the original producer of The Judds. Cactus Moser, a producer, songwriter, and musician, as well as Wynonna Judd's husband, produced "Cry Myself to Sleep."

The "A Tribute to The Judds" album commemorates the 40th anniversary of The Judds' signing to RCA Records in 1983. This project marks a reunion with the team that played a pivotal role in their success. Joe Galante, the music executive who signed The Judds, and Renee Bell, an A&R executive at MCA Nashville, serve as executive producers for the tribute. Brent Maher's presence as producer honors the timeless Judds music.

Additionally, "A Tribute to The Judds" will collaborate with the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) in honor of Naomi Judd, who tragically passed away by suicide in 2022. This partnership aims to support mental health awareness and advocacy, further cementing the enduring impact of The Judds' music and legacy.
